About Me
My name is Lynelle. My nickname is Nella. I also go by NellaBoo or NellaRiBoo. I'm 26 and my birthday's September 7th.
I'm interested in video games, drawing, animation, music, sewing, embroidery, and animals (mainly cats, bats, owls, and moths).
I've played many games across many systems and handhelds (mind you, these are the games I've played, not necessarily the systems I own), which are:
- Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)
- Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES)
- Nintendo 64 (N64)
- GameBoy (GB)
- GameBoy Colour (GBC)
- GameBoy Advance (GBA)
- Nintendo GameCube
- Nintendo DS (NDS)
- Nintendo Wii
- Nintendo Wii U
- Nintendo 3DS
- Nintendo Switch
- Sega Genesis
- Sega Dreamcast
- Playstation 2
- Xbox
- Xbox 360
- PC
Favourite Console and Games
My favourite console would have to be the GameCube. There's just a lot to like about it. I like the startup screen, the controllers are comfy (shout out to my beloved wavebird), and there's tons of great games on it. Plus if you had that extension that let you play GBA games on GameCube, that let you play GBA games on the big screen.
There's a lot of games I adore for Gamecube, so I'm just gonna narrow it down to my top three:
- Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
- Super Monkey Ball 2
- Kirby Air Ride
My thoughts, likes, dislikes about these games will be in their respective sections on the right
Favourite Handheld and Games
This is a tough one since all the handhelds I've played are pretty great. I think I'll go for the GameBoy Advance though. Still have my beloved red GameBoy Advance SP, used to have the transparent periwinkle GameBoy Advance (regret giving that away, maybe I'll get another someday). The games are fun and charming, I love the pixel art, love how a couple characters got a voice like Yoshi in Yoshi's Island and Link in Minish Cap.
Top three:
- Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island
- Drill Dozer
- The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
Like before, thoughts about these games will be in their respective sections on the right
